Narberth

Downtown Narberth transforms into 1840s London and welcomes period street vendors and food, caroling, musicians, costumed performers, puppet shows, dance performances, ice sculpting and carriage rides. Kids join in the free scavenger hunt to search for Ebenezer Scrooge and other costumed Dickens characters.

King of Prussia Town Center

The King of Prussia Town Center will host its second annual Winterfest celebration on December 2. The day includes performances by local choirs, ice sculptures, a visit from Santa and more.

The piece will be sung by the College Choir and Meistersingers, and conducted by Professor John French, holder of the Heefner Chair of Music.

This spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens' most well-known story was written by Broadway heavy hitters Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Little Shop and Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Suessical). People's Light

Nat "King" Cole is one of the most revered voices of the 20th century, but his life was fraught with challenges. In Lights Out, writers Colman Domingo and Patricia McGregro imagine Nat as he faces his final Christmastime broadcast. The show, starring Dule Hill (West Wing and Psych) as Nat, features performances of some of Nat's greatest hits and Christmas classics. All performances are now SOLD OUT. Cairnwood Estate, one of three historic buildings that make up the Bryn Athyn Historic District, invites visitors to experience a true Victorian Christmas during Cairnwood by Candlelight. The palatial home will be decked out in its holiday finest, and guests can explore all three floors of the home by the soft glow of candlelight.

Colebrookdale Railroad

Most people think of Santa traveling by sleigh, but when he really wants to go first class, he takes a seat in the glamorous passenger car of the Colebrookdale Railroad. There are many December options in riding with St. Nick, including brunches and dinners and departures that include a reading of "Twas the Night before Christmas."

Glencairn Museum

Reflecting artistic expression across multiple ethnic backgrounds, the collection of nativities at Glencairn Museum appeals to all faith traditions. On display are dioramas made for the Pitcairn family, duplicating a set made for the Eisenhowers in the White House in the 1950s.

Pennypacker Mills

Holiday traditions continue as the halls of Pennypacker Mills are decked for Christmas. Beginning November 21, tours of the historic home will include the splendor of a Victorian Christmas. Holiday tours continue through January 7.

Hope Lodge

Come take a self-guided tour of Hope Lodge decorated for Christmas, enjoy holiday music, train displays and much more! Reduced admission charged. After the tour, join us for tastings of craft beers in our Colonial Kitchen (additional charge) for adults 21 and older.

Philander Chase Knox Estate

The Philander Chase Knox Estate, on the grounds of Valley Forge National Historical Park, hosts an open house celebration on December 2. An optional all-day experience includes brunch at Washington Memorial Chapel with frequent visitor to the Knox Estate, Teddy Roosevelt, followed by a guided tour of the Knox home and a trolley tour of Valley Forge Park.

Pennsylvania German Christmas traditions are highlighted during the candlelight tours of the Henry Muhlenberg House in Historic Trappe. On Sunday, December 8, the Muhlenberg House is just one of many historic homes on the Holiday House Tour, which takes guests to historic sites and points of interest in Trappe, Collegeville and the surrounding communities.

Peter Wentz Farmstead

Soft candlelight greets visitors as they enjoy Colonial music, seasonal decorations farm animals and a visit from a Pennsylvania-German version of St. Nicholas, all in fur.

Wayne Art Center

Gum drops and sprinkles and frosting -- oh my! Join us for classic holiday fun: gingerbread house decorating! Each family will receive their own cookie cottage, pre-assembled and ready to decorate! You will also receive icing and candy to decorate it.

Local artists and crafts people will be in the winery with their unique and beautiful wares. All wines, ciders, meads and beers will be available for purchase or sampling during this event.

A Soldiers christmas, is a historical tour which will display how soldiers through different eras Christmas during times of war. We also will be collecting items to send to service men and women overseas.

Join us for cheer and celebration as Santa and Mrs. Claus visit The Highlands for photo opportunities (please bring your camera), make a craft project, decorate gingerbread cookies in the shape of the mansion, and enjoy a reading of that seasonal classic, The Night Before Christmas.
