Delicious Dinners Piled High

Valley Forge is synonymous with the creation of America, and all across Montgomery County are restaurants serving traditional and new American cuisine.

Whether your palate dictates that Gouda is good or cheddar is better, cheeseburger aficionados in Valley Forge and Montgomery County, Pa., are definitely on a roll. Here's our choices for the best burgers in Montgomery County:

King of Prussia-- It's KOP's newest neighborhood bar. City Works takes the classic burger and kicks it up a notch with aged white cheddar, vine-ripened tomato and a brioche bun.

King of Prussia-- Boasting the world's largest selection of draft beer, Yard House has a burger selection that does not disappoint. From classic cheeseburgers to the adventurous Kurobuta Pork Burger – served with spicy candied bacon, arugula and blueberry ketchup – there's a burger for every palette…

Norristown-- At the new Tavern at Valley Forge, they are doing burgers right. The tavern burger features a blend of sirloin, brisket and short rib on a brioche bun with Gruyere cheese, shaved him, dill pickles and Dijon mustard. You'll definitely taste the difference.

King of Prussia-- It's only available on the bar menu, but the steakhouse burger at Davio's is a must-try. It's topped with Vermont cheddar, bacon and herb aioli. And the Kobe beef sliders - also on the bar menu - are the equal to their grown-up brother.

Bridgeport-- The Taphouse Burger is fantastic (100% Angus beef) but if you are craving something more, try the lamb burger with roasted tomato, arugula and tzatziki sauce.

160 N. Gulph Rd King of Prussia Shake Shack has made a name for itself as a cool, retro-style burger joint, but its beginnings were as a humble New York City hot dog cart. Of course, Shake Shack kicks their hot dogs up a notch, using 100% all-natural meat with no hormones and no antibiotics, served…

Eagleville-- Eight-ounce burgers, made to order with quality toppings. That's what lands Chap's Taproom on our list of best burgers in Montco. Try the hot spiced burger, chipotle seared and topped with fresh pepper jack and grilled jalapenos.

King Of Prussia-- Located in the center of the lively King of Prussia Town Center, Founding Farmers KOP is a full-service restaurant and bar open every day.

At the Butcher and the Barkeep, the dinner menu includes one burger. It's "the burger," featuring house-blended beef, beer glazed onions, smoked bacon, three-cheese blend and oven-roasted tomato on a brioche bun. Don't miss it.
