Kid-Friendly Fall & Halloween Fun
Pumpkins, Scarecrows and Fall Festivals
Take a walk through a pumpkin patch, make your own scarecrow or hop aboard a hayride this fall in Valley Forge and Montgomery County, Pa. Here's a look at some of the best Halloween activities for family fun this year:
BOO AT THE ZOO
October 7- 29 (Weekends Only)
Elmwood Park Zoo
Bring your little ghouls and ghosts to this annual Halloween haunt, where the entire zoo is transformed for a kooky, spooky Halloween celebration! Come dressed in your most creative costume and march in the costume parade. Adults are encouraged to dress up, too! And don’t forget to bring your trick-or-treat bag, as treat and activity stations will be located throughout the zoo. Tickets required.
WITCHES OF NARBERTH
Downtown Narberth welcomes children for a not-so-scary afternoon during Witches of Narberth. Kids and parents are invited to a scavenger hunt as they travel from business to business looking for witches. Kids will receive treats along the way, and a special Halloween prize at the end of the hunt. Children of all ages are invited to join this free event. Costumes are certainly welcome, but totally optional.
September 29 - October 31
Legoland Discovery Center
This Halloween, the LEGO® Monsters have taken over LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia and they’re throwing an awesome Brick or Treat Monster Party! Be amongst the first to watch the BRAND NEW 4D LEGO® Movie, ‘The Great Monster Chase’ exclusive to LEGOLAND®, build a LEGO® pumpkin to plant in the Pumpkin Patch, join the LEGO® Playmakers in the Fun Hub for Monster games and giggles, and much more!
Green Lane Park
Bring the family out to experience a “Haunted Hayride” through this “spooktacular” campground. In addition to the hayride, this free event will feature kids’ crafts, refreshments and entertainment by DJ David Boice. This is a free event, and meets at the Deep Creek Area of Green Lane Park.
