Wednesdays & Fridays to December 23
Skippack Village is one big slice of eye candy year-round, but in December, it gains a special sparkly overlay. Its walkable paths and sidewalks shimmer with candlelight, guiding visitors from one unique shop to another.
SKIPPACK RESTAURANT WEEK
With prix fixe meals in the $15-$35 range, the culinary celebration of Skippack Village's talented chefs represents a budget-friendly way to sit down at one of the many excellent eating spots. Revisit a favorite, or better yet, open your palate to something new and different.
FOURTH OF JULY
Skippack's Fourth of July celebration is one of the most active in Montgomery County, starting with a parade down Route 73 (Skippack Pk), a free concert and barbecue in the afternoon, and a fireworks show at nightfall over Palmer Park.
People come to Skippack Village for these two days in October to walk beneath canopies of golden foliage, to browse one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories, to see handmade arrangements of dried flowers and breathe in the scent of crafted candles. But all that aside, people come to eat, which, given Skippack's reputation for dining excellence, is a perfectly good reason to stop by.
Wine lovers flock to Skippack Village every October for the annual Winetoberfest celebration. More than 15 wineries, distilleries and meaderies will be joined by local artisans for the two-day event.
