Founded in 1717, Trappe has three Revolutionary War-era historic sites open to the public: Augustus Lutheran Church, built in 1743; the Henry Muhlenberg House, furnished with many original family heirlooms; and the Speaker's House, an ongoing restoration and kitchen garden.
