The Paul Decker & VFTCB Hospitality Scholarship Fund
The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) and Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) partnered together to announce the Paul Decker & VFTCB Hospitality Scholarship Fund through the MCCC’s Foundation. The endowed scholarship will go to a Montgomery County resident in financial need with good academic standing to pursue a degree in tourism hospitality management or culinary arts.
Former VFTCB President & CEO, Decker is a 40-year veteran leader in the tourism industry including President of the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau in Tennessee, Vice President of Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, and PA’s state travel director during the nation’s bicentennial celebration. A New York City native and graduate of Fordham University, Paul also served as a U.S. Army officer for seven years, including a combat tour in Vietnam.
