Montco welcomes you to join in on our Pride Month celebrations and show your support with LGBTQ+ friendly events across the county!

 

That’s not all! This month is full of various summer festivals and concerts where you can sit back and relax. On June 7th, experience the Conshohocken Arts Festival and Car Show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Fayette Street and enjoy live performances from local bands. Don’t miss out on the live music, fantastic food, crafts, games, two performance stages, and the amazing car show!

 

The summer fun continues at the Skippack Food Truck Festival in Skippack Village on June 7th. Join us for a day filled with local food trucks, great food, and guaranteed fun! Featuring an incredible lineup of food trucks serving up delicious dishes to satisfy any cravings you may have.

 

Honor Juneteenth and GNAL Pride on June 21st from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a day full of crafts, activities, and refreshments. Help us celebrate these two important historical moments. 

 

Along with great summer events, we also have grand openings! Celebrate Children Discovery Center’s grand opening at the museum on S. Hanover Street in Pottstown on June 21st. This family-friendly event includes a variety of fun activities, games, and crafts for all ages as well as special treats your kids will love!

 

Game on this summer at TooManyGames at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center from June 27th-29th. Join the longest-running video and board game convention in Pennsylvania featuring tournaments, special guests, live concerts, and more! This is a weekend you won’t want to miss!  

Venture to the Elmwood Park Zoo

In honor of National Zoo Month, explore Montgomery County’s beloved Elmwood Park Zoo! Located in Norristown, this is one of Montco’s most popular budget-friendly places with half-price tickets for Montgomery County residents, to spend the day with children of all ages. History - Valley Forge Marchout

Experience the Marching Out Into the Future: 250 Years of the U.S. Army on June 14th at Valley Forge National Historical Park. Visit Artillery Park to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States Army and learn more about the historical and present-day army from their equipment to soldier experiences. Hear from park rangers, volunteers, living history presenters, and current members of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard who will be in attendance. Don’t miss a great experience!
