Whether you are celebrating your own unique individuality or showing your support, attending these local experiences are a great way to celebrate and get involved with your local LGBTQ+ community. 7th Annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony
June 2, 10-11 a.m. | Montgomery County Courthouse Lawn, Norristown
Montgomery County officials will kick off the county's Pride Month events with the 7th Annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony. The ceremony will take place at the Montgomery County Courthouse at the Corner of Airy Street and Swede Street in Norristown. Join us as the Montgomery County Commissioners raise the Progress Pride Flag to symbolize the county's commitment to its residents' feelings of equality and visibility. Local community leaders will be in attendance to speak on the pride movement's history and the future commitment to make local LGBTQ+ citizens of Montgomery County feel free and supported. This free event is open to the public.

Queerly Departed: LGBTQ+ Stories
June 21, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. | Laurel Hill West, Bala Cynwyd
Honor residents of the LGBTQ+ community through a guided ceremony walk. On Saturday June 21st. Laurel Hill West is inviting the community to meet citizens from various backgrounds including artists, poets, musicians, teachers, nurses, and businesspeople all a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Guests will depart for the tour from the Conservatory where free parking is available. Tickets must be purchased in advance. A valid ID and access card are required to enter.
Lansdale Pride Walk & Roll
June 7, 10 a.m. | Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale
Meet local members and allies of the LGBTQ+ communities at Lansdale's Pride Walk & Roll hosted by The Montgomery County LGBT Business Council and Trinity Lutheran Church. Citizens will gather rain or shine on the front steps of Trinity Lutheran Church to enjoy a morning full of community and love. Show your spirit and wear your favorite pride attire. Bring your family, friends, and pets. Celebrate inclusivity and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Bucks-Mont Pride Festival
June 29, 12-5 p.m. | Abington Arts Center, Jenkintown
The Welcome Project PA is proud to host its 5th annual Pride Festival. This family-friendly event includes live entertainment and food from local performers and vendors. Make sure to dress accordingly as the event is both indoor and outdoors. You will not want to miss out on all the fun!
Royersford's Annual Pride Event
June 21, 12-8 p.m. | Riverfront Park, Royersford
The Royersford Baptist Church is excited to host the Royersford's Annual Pride Event. Local vendors, food trucks, as well as arts and crafts will be at Riverfront Park on Saturday, June 21st from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is a free community event and there is no required registration to attend.
GNAL Pride and Juneteenth Celebration
June 21, 12-5 p.m. | The Greater Norristown Art League, Norristown
Celebrate two important historical moments in one. The Greater Norristown Art League is bringing the community together for an afternoon to honor the resilience of both the LGBTQ+ and Black community throughout history. There will be fun activities, crafts, and refreshments. The event is free to attend and donations will be taken at the door. Don't miss out on this united community event.
Elmwood Park Zoo Pride Celebration
June 28 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. | Elmwood Park Zoo, Norristown
The Elmwood Park Zoo is thrilled to celebrate Pride and host its first annual Pride Celebration. This community-focused, family-friendly event includes a waterslide, live music, rainbow hand painting, enrichment making, and more! Bites and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the day at Zoo Brew events. This event is free to attend with zoo admission.
