Investing in the Rev Run is investing in our place in history. One of our goals is to educate the community on the instrumental role of the Patriots of African Descent in the making of America. In order to accomplish that goal, we must be present to reach the general public; many who already enjoy the park on a regular basis but may not be aware of the contributions of Black Patriots.

Arkema is very focused on supporting the communities where our employees live and work. We are most committed to initiatives involving education, sport, and inclusion. We want our involvement to be authentic and impactful. Because so many of our people are involved in and passionate about this event, it’s clear RevRun is a great example of what we want to achieve. RevRun aligns very well with Arkema’s overall community engagement initiatives in other ways as well. Our offices are in such close proximity to the park and many of our employees live near and use the park. In addition, because Valley Forge had a defining role in America’s history, the fact that this is the 250th birthday of America will have special significance.
