Autumn Splendor Train Rides
Various dates and times throughout November | Colebrookdale Railroad, Boyertown
Witness the best fall foliage in Pennsylvania from this exquisite historic railroad as it travels through the scenic Secret Valley! November rides feature a variety of delicious meals and autumn-themed snacks. Check the railroad’s calendar of events for opportunities to pair your sightseeing with lunch, brunch, dinner, apple cider and donuts, or wine tasting. Tickets are required.
Fall Cocktail Workshop
Nov. 9 & 15, 7:30 p.m. | Boardroom Spirits Distillery, Lansdale
Each hands-on workshop teaches you how to make three different refreshing fall cocktails that you can enjoy during the season and beyond! You’ll also receive a complimentary four-pack of canned cocktails to take home. Pre-registration is required.
Fall Floral Centerpiece Arrangement Workshop with Ambler Flower Shop
Nov. 24, 6-7:30 p.m. | Harriet Wetherill Park, Plymouth Township
Express your creative side as you learn the art of floral arranging. Using seasonal blooms and live flowers, create a beautiful fall-themed custom centerpiece for your home just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Pre-registration is required.

Trivia at Workhorse Brewing Company
Tuesdays in November, 6:30 p.m. | King of Prussia
Grab a couple of friends or family members and test your TV knowledge. Each Tuesday in November, Workhorse Brewing Company will hold a trivia night starring a different early 2000s sitcom or drama. Shows include Parks & Recreation (Nov. 5), Scrubs (Nov. 12), One Tree Hill (Nov. 19), and Dawson’s Creek (Nov. 26). Free to attend, but food and beverage purchases are encouraged.
The 38th Annual Thanksgiving “Not Just” Rock Record & CD Show
Nov. 29, 12-6 p.m. & Nov. 30, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. | Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Oaks
“Not Just” Rock Record & CD Show is the largest and oldest musical collectibles show east of the Mississippi. Dealers from all across the U.S., Canada, and Europe are expected to participate, carrying a large selection of new and used, rare, collectible, and common records, CDs, DVDs, tapes, 45s, 12” singles, posters, t-shirts, books and memorabilia spanning many types of music, including rock, metal, jazz, R & B, alternative, classical, new age, blues, soul, showtunes, soundtracks, folk, comedy, disco, new releases, imports, out of print, and much more. $5 admission can be paid in advance or at the door.

St. Sophia Greek Food & Craft Festival
Nov. 8-10, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. | St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, Jeffersonville
St. Sophia’s annual Food & Craft Festival features the best Greek food and pastries in the area, as well as a chance to start your Christmas shopping early by supporting local crafters. This event is free to attend.
Outdoor Holiday Market
Nov. 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | Colonial Middle School, Plymouth Meeting
Need a gift for someone? Looking for some cool handmade crafts? Hanukkah and Christmas are right around the corner! Check out the unique and handmade items at our Outdoor Holiday Market. This event is free to attend.
Skippack Village Holiday Open House
Nov. 16-17, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. | Skippack Village
Kick off the holiday season in Skippack! Start your holiday shopping and discover unique gifts as the entire village celebrates together. Shops stay open late to extend the festivities! This event is free to attend.
Abington Art Center Holiday Art & Fine Craft Fair
Nov. 17, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. | Abington Art Center
Support local artists and enjoy a fun day of shopping, food, and live music! Artists from around the region will showcase their work in a range of media, including jewelry, ceramics, glass, textiles, painting, and photography. Enjoy handcrafted food and locally brewed beer while exploring our 27-acre sculpture park. Fair is rain or shine. In the event of dangerous weather, it will be postponed to November 24. This event is free to attend.
Small Business Saturday

The National Dog Show Presented by Purina

Did you know? The nationally broadcast National Dog Show Presented by Purina is hosted right here in Oaks, PA! Bring your family out to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center November 16-17, to experience first-hand the crowning of Best in Show.
The National Dog Show Presented by Purina is broadcasted nationwide in high-definition on NBC on Thanksgiving Day immediately following the Macy's Parade, reaching an audience of nearly 20 million viewers. The Kennel Club of Philadelphia is proud to have presented dog shows for more than 125 years.
FEZtival of Trees & Lights with Santa
Nov. 21-24, times vary | Lulu Shrine Complex, Plymouth Meeting
Celebrate the season with your family at this fun-filled holiday experience benefiting the Shriners. Walk through a beautiful indoor forest of uniquely decorated trees, enjoy breakfast with Santa or storytime with Mrs. Claus, shop in the marketplace, purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a tree display, and take a FREE digital photo with Santa! Tickets required for adults; children under 12 are free. Breakfast with Santa is an additional cost.
Wild Lights
Select nights starting Nov. 22 | Elmwood Park Zoo, Norristown
Elmwood Park Zoo’s favorite family tradition, Wild Lights, returns this holiday season! Enjoy live entertainment as you walk through illuminated animals and dazzling light displays. Every year gets bigger and brighter! Tickets are required to attend.
Holiday Bricktacular
Starting Nov. 24| LEGOLAND® Discovery Center, Plymouth Meeting
Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Philadelphia! Enjoy giant holiday LEGO builds, iconic Philadelphia holiday scenes, and even meet LEGO Santa. Tickets required.
Holiday Tours at Historic Pennypacker Mills
Starting Nov. 26 | Pennypacker Mills, Schwenksville
Pennypacker Mills is one of Montgomery County’s best destinations for Christmas decorations and holiday traditions. Set on 170 acres of bucolic farmland, the Pennypacker mansion is resplendent in early 1900s holiday style. Take a one-hour guided tour to delight in the holiday traditions of the Pennypacker family, find inspiration for decorating your own home, and marvel at the stunning decorations throughout the mansion. Tours are free with a suggested donation of $2.
Christmas in the Castle
Daily starting on Nov. 29, Tours begin at 12:30, 1:00, 2:00, and 2:30 p.m. | Glencairn Museum, Bryn Athyn Historic District
This 45-minute guided tour with stops on five different floors (including the tower) invites visitors to journey back through time to explore Pitcairn holiday traditions in their 20th-century castle. At the conclusion of the tour, visitors can enjoy the first floor and the World Nativities exhibition on their own. Reservations are required.
World Nativities Exhibition
Daily starting on Nov. 29, at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 p.m. | Glencairn Museum, Bryn Athyn Historic District
Glencairn Museum’s annual World Nativities exhibition presents dozens of three-dimensional Nativity scenes collected from around the world. World Nativities shows how artists adapt the Nativity scene to represent their own spiritual, intellectual, cultural, and regional environments. Admission included with Christmas in the Castle tour. Otherwise, a $5 donation is suggested.
Santa’s Polar Bear Express Christmas Train
Starting Nov. 29 | Colebrookdale Railroad, Boyertown
Create Christmas memories to last a lifetime as you and your little ones join Santa on a magical adventure into Christmas past on a beautiful one-hour train journey through the Secret Valley. Santa will visit each car, bringing a gift for every child. Arrive early for complimentary hot cocoa and Christmas cookies in the train yard before you board! Tickets required.
