There are artists and artisans all across Montgomery County. You can visit many of them in their studios and galleries and check out work made in Montco and across the globe. Here are a few of our favorite spots to see art and artists.
ABINGTON ART CENTER
Jenkintown
The Abington Art Center is one of the premier arts destination in Montco. Browse the rotating galleries inside historic Alverthorpe Manor, meet the artists during the center's Coffee Break Conversations, or explore the 27-acre campus' outdoor sculpture garden.
Exhibit B Gallery
Souderton
Exhibit B Gallery showcases art and fine craft in a lovingly restored former 1901 cigar factory on Souderton's charming Main Street.
GREEN WOLF'S VILLAGE BARN SHOPPES
Skippack
Green Wolf's Village Barn Shoppes features six one-of-a-kind shops plus a rotating art gallery. Each month, a different local artist is featured in the gallery. And on most weekends, you can meet the artist and even see them toiling at their craft.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE - CENTRAL CAMPUS
Blue Bell
Montgomery County Community College's Central Campus is home to the school's Fine Arts Center and an impressive gallery space. Here, the next generation of artists display their works alongside faculty, alumni and noted artists from across the region.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE - WEST CAMPUS
Pottstown
The Fine Arts Gallery at Montgomery County Community College's West Campus is another impressive space, housing rotating exhibits from the school's budding artists and the best that Montgomery County has to offer.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY STUDIO TOUR
Montgomery County
The Montgomery County Studio Tour takes place each June and features artists displaying their work at studios across Montgomery County. This two-day event offers a behind-the-scenes look at Montco's best painters, sculptors, artisans, and craftsmen. Admission to all studios is free and many are open to the public year-round.

Pottstown
Featuring the arts, artisan foods, veggie/meat & more vendors Pottstown Farm & Artisan Regional Market (FARM) has Saturdays hopping in Pottstown. This year, they some very unique, local crafters who will be selling at the market. Be sure to buy those special gifts for someone you love OR just treat yourself to something fun!
PAGUS Gallery
Norristown
Pagus is located in the Norristown Arts Building, a beautiful loft building that was once a costume factory. Since 1996 Pagus has been a 501(c)(3) non-profit showing high quality work by artists from across the United States.
THE WEST COLLECTION AT SEI
Oaks
The Oaks campus of SEI isn't just for the financial firm's employees. The grounds are also home to the West Collection, with more than 1,500 works installed and on display at any time. Tours are available by request.
Dancing Tree Creations Artisans Gallery & Studio
Boyertown
Just across the county line in Boyertown, Berks County, Dancing Tree Creations Artisans Gallery & Studio offers one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted works of art created by talented North American artisans.
TAYLOR BACKES GLASS
Boyertown
Located in the quaint town of Boyertown you'll find one of the finest glass art studios in the country: Taylor Backes Glass. The studio's incredible art glass can be seen on display at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Corning Museum of Glass, the Smithsonian Institute, and at their Boyertown studio and gallery.
WHARTON ESHERICK STUDIO MUSEUM
Malvern
Craftsman and artist Wharton Esherick was one of the most important figures in the American Arts & Crafts movement. The Wharton Esherick Studio Museum, tucked into a forested hillside near Valley Forge National Historical Park, preserves both his legacy and his work. His hand-built former home reveals his genius - a mix of whimsy and creativity.
