King of Prussia, PA – The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) wants visitors to plan their winter staycation in Montgomery County this season. The board has partnered with a record 37 local businesses and attractions to create the 2019 Winter Hotel Package, which continues to make it easier than ever to plan a holiday weekend getaway, or winter escape, in Montco.
The #MakeItMontco Winter Hotel Package takes all the hassle of out planning, granting guests access to a wide variety of exclusive savings – a $350 value – at the best restaurants, entertainment and premiere attractions when they book a stay at any participating Montgomery County hotel.
“The wide-range of members who participate in this hotel package continue to grow, which only helps encourage more visitors to come to Montgomery County during the winter months,” said Edward Harris, VFTCB Chief Marketing Officer. “You don’t have to go far to get away! The hotel package runs now through April 22nd, 2020 to encourage visitors check out Montco throughout the holidays and beyond.
The aggressive winter-long marketing strategy includes television, radio, digital, regional print ads, and out-of-home targeting the Philadelphia, South Jersey, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York markets in an effort to increase hotel stays for people visiting Montgomery County through Easter.

The tourism board will feature its brand new mini Monty the Fox mascot plush toy to create viral-worthy social media content and create buzz around the package with appearances at partner locations highlighting their respective deals including: iFLY Indoor Skydiving in King of Prussia, LEGOLAND Discover Center in Plymouth Meeting Mall, and Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown.
