King of Prussia, PA – The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) wants visitors to plan their getaway in Montgomery County this holiday season. The board has partnered with seven major holiday attractions to create the 2021 Winter Bundle Pass, which continues to make it easier than ever to plan an escape in Montco. 

The #MakeItMontco Experience takes all the hassle of out planning, granting guests access to a wide variety of exclusive savings at holiday attractions and events when they book a stay at any of the dozens of participating Montgomery County hotels. 

“Last year, winter traditions looked a little different. But this year, there’s plenty of safe and exciting things for families to do in Montgomery County,” said Justine Garbarino, VFTCB Senior Director of Marketing & Business Development. “From festive light displays, to shopping on our magical main streets, we are thrilled to offer holiday fun at an affordable price for the whole family. The Make it Montco Experience: The Winter Bundle Pass is an easy way to have a fun, safe and affordable holiday experience in Montgomery County!”

The hotel package runs now through March 31st, 2022 to encourage visitors to check out Montco throughout the holidays and beyond. 

New this year, the board partnered with Bandwango, a destination experience engine specializing in digital passports, to create the Winter Bundle digital savings pass. Users will need to go to, click on “Access the Montco Winter Bundle Pass Here”, and will be directed to access the collection of great deals and discounts. The pass will be instantly delivered via text and email, and allows for easy mobile redemption.

How it works:

Passports are instantly delivered to mobile devices via text and email and are immediately ready for use. There is no app to download. Passes can be saved to phone’s home screen for easy one-tap access. When visiting a participating business, simply present phone to the attendant or staff member to redeem available discounts.

While there is no app needed to access holiday savings, users are encouraged to download the board’s Visit Valley Forge application to access even more discounts from the year-long Make it Montco Experience. Video outlining mobile savings pass details:

Additionally, the board partnered with Madden Media to build an aggressive winter-long marketing strategy that includes digital, social media, and out-of-home advertising targeting regional markets in an effort to increase hotel stays for people visiting Montgomery County.
