KING OF PRUSSIA, PA – The Board introduced two additional video vignettes, promoting its newly launched Make it Main Street initiative. Make it Main Street was introduced to support local, family-owned businesses impacted by COVID-19 and proud to be “Made Strong in Montco.” To date, this campaign has received over 300,000 video views on @VisitValleyForge social media, and is getting traction on television, radio, and various digital platforms.
Mother-daughter owned coffee shop in downtown Norristown creates that community spirit where people experience togetherness. Timshel means to treat others with kindness, and co-owner, Mary Lou Readinger, believes, “that’s truly embedded in every single person that works here”. Admitting that a challenging year dealing with COVID-19 has brought their spirits down, Readinger remains hopeful and states, “… at the same time, it gave us that chance to pause, reassess, and make this place even better. What you see in Norristown is passion.”
Deliah & Dean is your neighborhood grocery store located in Pottstown, offering fresh produce, organic and gluten free foods, decor, and more. Market owner, Dena Reeves, said March of this year was “a real game-changer”. When the local market was deemed essential business, Reeves says, “That was so important to us because it meant we could continue providing a service to the community. We were committed to making sure our customers were able to access the food they wanted.” Deliah & Dean Market “knows our customers by name,” and just “wants to see our community live a happier and healthier life.”
