King of Prussia, PA (June 16, 2022) – Dozens of Montgomery County restaurants and local establishments will take part in the second annual Crave Montco Month, which runs from July 1 through July 30, the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board (VFTCB) announced today. Over 30 of the region’s most beloved restaurants and Monto Makers (craft breweries, wineries, and distilleries) will participate in the 2022 event, with businesses offering exclusive discount promotions throughout the month to visiting patrons.

The VFTCB first launched Crave Montco Month in July 2021 to showcase the extensive selection of local food and beverage options the Montgomery County region has to offer while supporting local establishments during the challenges presented by COVID-19. Now Crave Montco Month provides a yearly opportunity for residents to enjoy incredible deals on world-class cuisine while supporting businesses right in their own neighborhoods.

“Across Montgomery County during the month of July, our Crave Montco guests will be able to explore so many different types of unique cuisine while also supporting the local economy – a real win-win for everyone,” said Mike Bowman, VFTCB President and CEO. “Whether you’re craving a new flavor or a hometown favorite, there is something for every taste bud. Crave Montco proves you don’t have to travel far to experience the very best dining options.”

A sampling of participants for the 2nd Annual Crave Montco Month include: The Village Teahouse, Gypsy Saloon, Workhorse Brewing Company, The Broad Street Grind, Flanigan’s Boathouse, Black Powder Tavern, and El Vago Mexican Restaurant. The full list of participants can be found here.

Crave Montco Month participating restaurants and Makers feature family-friendly outdoor accommodations, dog-friendly options along with great value for patrons. Specials and discounts range from a percentage or dollar amount off the bill and buy one get one free deals; to free desserts, appetizers, or cocktails. Each restaurant and Maker has the ability to choose their own promotion and it is free for restaurants to participate in this month-long celebration.

“We know the increased costs resulting from inflation combined with soaring gas prices are impacting regional consumers,” said Bowman. “Value is more important than ever when considering dining out, and Crave Montco couldn’t be arriving at a better time this summer.”
