During a time when we are trying to be a bit frugal as well recover from a pandemic and support our local communities, there is a shop that satisfies all those requirements as well as including an element of fashionable fun and whimsy.

Enter Once Upon a Time Consignment Boutique on High Street in Pottstown.

This delightful shop offers designer clothes for the whole family, at each season, for a fraction of the cost! So, you look great, support a Pottstown business, and save some money to spend at another shop in town! (might I suggest The Very Best Weiner Shop, right next door?)

Gina L. Pimentel Spease is the Owner of the Boutique and an entrepreneur at heart. “My experience is from owning previous businesses, learning from others, and researching my interests. My daughter, Karmina Pimentel and I enjoy shopping in consignment shops. So, when the opportunity presented itself at the right time for both of us, we decided to venture into a consignment business. Karmina is a key person in getting our store opened, so it is a family business because her input is very important, and I couldn’t have done it without her,” she explains.

When searching for a location, these fashionable ladies decided to pick Pottstown. “We wanted to be a part of the revitalization that was happening. This also made it affordable for a startup business in a town that has a lot of potential,” Gina says. “We began in 2013 on Moser Road in Pottstown and moved downtown in 2018 and presently still located at 254 E High Street.

“We are so appreciative of the support we are receiving from our customers and the other local businesses. We love offering our customers quality designer brand merchandise for the entire family, men included at a fraction of the cost,” Gina notes. “Choosing from casual, professional, and special occasion wear with all the accessories to complete your look is what we do. Thanks to our consigners, we love to bring fashionable merchandise empowering our customers to look and feel their best.”

The boutique in High Street is a shopper’s dream—easy to find everything, entire outfits thoughtfully laid out, so all you have to do is buy! They update their inventory daily, so there’s always a fun, new selection of clothes, accessories, shoes, handbags, and more.

“We take pride in the value we offer our customers, consigners, and neighbors. We are proud participants in local and community events, bringing the neighborhood together one find at a time,” says Owner Gina.

Petite sizing, plus sizing, and men, women’s, and children’s styles arrive daily, so make this shop a part of your weekly shopping trips to town.

“We give our best in offering our customers an inviting, clean, and friendly environment. We love assisting our customers with putting together the best look just for them no matter the occasion,” she explains. “We love doing business in Montgomery County! I will always remember the support and encouragement given during the pandemic by the county. The interest that people showing in shopping and checking out our boutique, it means so much to me and my family!”
