If you’ve never been to Spring Mountain Adventures before, here are a few things to know before you go!

Spring Mountain Adventures is a perfect destination to enjoy winter sports and snow day activities. Located in Upper Salford Township, the mountain is the closest skiing and snowboarding resort to Philadelphia. Families have been enjoying the area since the 1960s.

Skiing at Spring Mountain
Skiing and Snowboarding

Spring Mountain features eight trails, four lifts, and two terrain parks, suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to the more advanced. Take advantage of expert instructors, who can guide you through the basics or help you take your skiing or snowboarding skills to new levels. You can also rent all the equipment you need. Buy your lift tickets early, the mountain gets crowded on weekends.

Ice Rink

Spring Mountain has a full-sized outdoor skating rink. There are public skating hours, as well as skating lessons and skate rentals. The rink is also used for hockey games and practices. Check Spring Mountain’s website for hours and special events, like DJ nights and more.

Scream Mountain
Fall Fun

In the fall, the mountain turns into the area’s premiere haunted ski lodge and hayride known as “SCREAM MOUNTAIN.”  There’s a haunted chairlift and walk, where visitors take a chilling ride up the mountain and work their way down a winding and dimly lit trail. Or enjoy a haunted hayride around the mountain. If that sounds too scary, there’s a starter haunted hayride, where visitors can enjoy the Halloween scenes while it is still light out and without anyone jumping out of the woods!
