Enjoy world-class shopping in Montco

Shopping in Valley Forge and Montgomery County is an experience to behold. Whether you’re discount-seeking, in search of unique souvenirs and gifts, or looking for a luxury shopping experience, you will find all that and more in Montco — a hub of high-end malls, shopping districts, and more.

Best Shopping on the East Coast

Start your shopping excursion at the King of Prussia Mall. One of the top attractions in Montco, the shopping destination features over 450 stores, from high-end Nordstrom and Gucci to popular retail chains, including The LEGO® Store and Bath & Body Works. Besides shopping, the mall is home to 30-plus eateries. If you’re bringing the kids along, keep them entertained at any of the two play areas. Surrounding the mall are fun attractions, like an Imax movie theater and an iFly indoor skydiving center.

The King of Prussia Town Center offers an alfresco shopping and dining experience. Retailers include Nordstrom Rack, Ulta Beauty, and Williams-Sonoma.

Prime Outlet Destination

For a good deal and an unforgettable shopping experience, visit Philadelphia Premium Outlets in Pottstown, an outdoor shopping center with 140-plus designer and brand-name retailers. Find something for everyone in the family, like Crocs for dad, a Coach purse for mom, and new shoes for the kids at the Nike Factory Store.

After a successful trip or while on a shopping break, fuel up at the outlet food court offering several dining options.

Montco Boutiques & Downtown Shops

There are several shopping districts with one-of-a-kind boutiques and locally-owned shops lining the streets of our small towns and villages.

Walking up and down Ambler’s Main Street, you’ll find countless clothing stores, bridal shops, and more, as well as high-end and family-friendly restaurants, a weekly farmers market, and a vivid arts and culture scene —  all in one place.

A historic shopping district with vintage and unique finds, Skippack Village is a must-visit for avid shoppers. The Copper Partridge Uniquities, a gift shop within walking distance to other shops and restaurants, has six rooms filled with home decor, kitchen items, clothes, and more. Across the street is Green Wolf’s Village Barn Shoppes, home to several unique shops and an art gallery.

Peruse through various locally-owned shops, from clothes and accessories to bridal boutiques, in downtown Ardmore. If you're looking for big-name retailers, hit up Suburban Square, an outdoor shopping center with clothing shops and boutiques like Gap, Lululemon, and Kendra Scott. Local businesses include a seafood shop and a farmers market selling fresh flowers, produce, meats, and cheeses on a daily basis.
For all things vintage and a day spent thrift shopping, visit Narberth, which features consignment shops, clothing boutiques, and an antique market.

Gift Shops & More

Many of our family-friendly attractions feature gift shops with one-of-a-kind goodies.

While visiting Valley Forge National Historical Park, stop by the Encampment Store, where American history books and Valley Forge-themed gifts fill the shelves and display tables.

Find animal-themed apparel, toys, and zoo-themed souvenirs at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown.
