Valley Forge National Historical Park March Out

Summer in Valley Forge is known for vibrant festivals and events that showcase the region's rich culture and heritage. Don't miss out on opportunities like the March-Out Commemoration 2024 at Valley Forge National Historical Park on June 22. Visit Valley Forge between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to learn about the pivotal moment where General George Washington and his soldiers finished their encampment at Valley Forge before taking on the British troops once more.

 

Note: Due to excessive heat forecasted for Saturday, June 22, activities that were originally scheduled to take place at Artillery Park will be moved to the Visitor Center at Valley Forge. One black powder musket firing demonstration will take place at 11 AM at Muhlenberg's Brigade.

 

Immerse yourself in the local arts scene at the Art in the Park Meet-Up series, held at Valley Forge National Historical Park once a month until November. Bring your own equipment and supplies and let your inner artist loose as you draw, sketch, paint, or snap photos with other artists.

 

Visit a local gallery to browse through a diverse selection of paintings, sculptures, and crafts created by talented local artists, or unleash your own creativity with hands-on workshops and interactive exhibits.

 

Or why not spend an evening taking in a carillon concert? The bells of the Washington Memorial Chapel fill the air with music every Wednesday in July and August. Starting at 7:30 p.m., the weekly carillon concerts feature musicians from around the world including the Netherlands, Belgium, and Australia.
