We'll See You in 2021

Important update regarding the 2020 Annual Valley Forge Revolutionary 5-Mile Run

Dear Rev Run Registrants,

The health and safety of our runners, walkers, volunteers, staff, expo exhibitors, partners, and spectators is always our top priority. Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) has made the tough decision to cancel the 15th Annual Valley Forge Revolutionary 5-Mile Run (Rev Run) scheduled for April 19, 2020, including the 3-Mile Walk and Patriot Run.

We know that this is a challenging time for everyone, and this news may be disappointing, but the resources needed to organize, and execute, this event with more than 2,000 participants would have become difficult to maintain while allowing for important modifications to accommodate crowd alleviation, and social distancing.

Unfortunately, our organization would not have been able to put on the event that our registrants have become accustomed to, especially to celebrate such a significant milestone as the 15th anniversary. We appreciate the guidance we received from our local government, and emergency service officials in coming to this decision.

We will be refunding all participants their registration fee, minus the process fee. The refund will be placed back on the method of payment used for registration. Due to the large number of people already registered for this event, we ask for your patience in receiving your payment as we navigate the situation.

We will celebrate Rev Run’s 15th anniversary in 2021 on a date to be determined.

We know that the community takes pride in this unique race, and we are so grateful for that because the event supports a national treasure, and one of the most important historic sites in Montgomery County, PA in Valley Forge National Historical Park.

It is an honor, and a privilege to serve this special community, and park. Together, we make a difference, and we will move past this to continue to do so. We hope you’ll Conquer the Valley with us in 2021.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. Again, we appreciate your understanding during this difficult time for all of us. Your support means so much to us.

Thank you,

Kirsten Tallman
