TASTE OF ARDMORE / ARDMORE RESTAURANT WEEK
Ardmore is kicking off fall with a week-long culinary celebration. It all starts with the 7th Annual Taste of Ardmore, with 17 restaurants, bars, breweries and wineries sharing their best dinners and drinks on October 15. Then it's time for the first Ardmore Restaurant Week, with seven days of dining deals from the area's best restaurants.
TASTE PHILADELPHIA FESTIVAL OF FOOD, WINE AND SPIRITS

Valley Forge Casino Resort
The largest culinary event of the event of the year takes over the Valley Forge Casino Resort for three days in October. The TASTE Philadelphia Festival of Food, Wine and Spirits features gourmet food and fine beverages as well as appearances by Food Network celebrity chef Paula Deen, 2014 Top Chef winner Nicholas Elmi and Next Food Network Star finalist Nicole Gaffney.
ALL HALLOW'S EVE FALL FESTIVAL
Bring the family for a day of fun on the farm at the Pennypacker Mills All Hallow's Eve Fall Festival. The event features old-time fun including tractor-pulled hayrides, pumpkin painting, corn shucking, apple pressing and more.
CONSHOHOCKEN BEER FEST
The Proving Grounds
Back for its second year, the Conshohocken Beer Fest takes over the Proving Grounds on October 17. More than 50 regional and craft brewers are bringing their best to the event. The day's activities also include tailgate games and live music. Local restaurants will be providing food throughout the day.
NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY
Valley Forge National Historical Park
Help preserve an American icon for future generations by taking part in National Public Lands Day at Valley Forge National Historical Park. The public is invited to join in beautification and maintenance projects throughout the park. A barbecue lunch is provided for all volunteers.
Comedian Craig Ferguson brings his unique sense of humor to the Keswick Theatre on October 20. Best known as the host of the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and for his role on the Drew Carey Show, Ferguson has established himself as one of the best comics in the world. Ferguson is one of many great acts coming to the Keswick, a list that includes fellow comedians Bo Burnham, Wanda Sykes and Paula Poundstone.
The Gothic-inspired Glencairn Museum plays host to its annual Medieval Festival on October 25. The event captures the spirit of Medieval Europe with sword fights between armor-clad knights, music from wandering minstrels, and stained glass window making demonstrations.
Appalachian Brewing Company
Fall is prime time for fermenting and for cycling, as both activities seem to gel when the air has a slight nip. Brews and bikes come together on October 25 at the Oktoberfest Ride, which begins at the Appalachian Brewing Company in Collegeville. Riders can choose from two ambitious courses - one 62 miles; one 44 miles - that send them through the most picturesque landscapes in the county. The stellar food and drink are in abundance after the ride.
