Williams is a photographic artist, curator and Haverford College professor who will discuss his recent work, A Stirring Song Sung Heroic: African Americans from Slavery to Freedom, 1619 to 1865 and Beyond. The project locates and elegantly documents unmarked and overlooked sites of meaning within the history of African Americans. This event is free and open to the public.
