The eastern Coyote

The Eastern Coyote has quietly colonized the city and suburbs of Philadelphia. Whereas bears and wolves were decimated in this area, the adaptable coyote has filled the vacancy at the top of the food chain. Our local coyotes stick to a field diet of deer, mice, voles, rabbits, and fruit, but they are not averse to eating pet food and garbage. Learn about the natural history of the elusive coyote from Ranger Tim Wilson. The talk will be followed by a walk in the park.
