The Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center welcomes its neighbors to an open house where they can see new exhibits about farm life in the region from the 1700s through the early 1900s and tour a reconstructed 1826 Pennsylvania bank barn. Family activities explore farm life and the Pennsylvania Dutch culture. A special art exhibit of original works by Berks County artist Jonathan Bond will be on view as well. Visitors also may take behind-the-scenes tours to learn more about the library and archives at the Heritage Center. The event is free, but register to reserve barn and behind-the-scenes tour time by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or 215-679-3103.
