Boyertown’s Pickfest Music/Art & Agriculture Crawl will be held on October 11-13, 2019, featuring food and beverages for purchase, free musical entertainment, and family-friendly activities throughout the weekend at several locations within a three-block area in the center of Boyertown and the outlying Frecon Orchards and Wilcox Farms. This FREE festival is a celebration of American roots at its best and builds community awareness for all that Boyertown has to offer, from its rich heritage and agricultural significance to its thriving artistic community and nationally recognized historical rail line.
Saturday October 12, 2019 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM plus after parties - Rail Yard "Main" Stage - behind Durango's and the Other Farm & Forge will feature FREE live music from the Boyertown High School Show Choir, Uncle Jake and the 18 Wheel Gang, Manatawny Creek Ramblers, and The Barren Wells.
In Donnie Ellixson's The Gardens of Boyertown besides FREE live music by Steve Walker, Grexin, Chuck Darwin and the Knuckle-Draggers, there will be family friendly activities including Pin-The-Tail on the Donkey, Chip & Putt, Soccer, Cam Jams and Corn Hole Games. Inside will be a bounce house and Dodge Ball.
On Chestnut Street, between our Platinum Sponsor, Tompkins VIST Bank, and Zimmers Pets, will be our Agricultural Area featuring live animals and educational opportunities to learn more about Bees, Lantern Flies, and much more. Additional music is being worked on for this area as well.
2:00PM - 6:00PM Local author Lisa Gery will have a book signing for her book, "The Persistence of Vision" at the Twin Turrets Bed & Breakfast and from 3:00pm - 6:00PM, Cliff Stackonis will provide easy listening music.
Many local merchants will be joining in the fun by being a stop on the Scavenger Hunts and/or may have special displays, visiting artists, raffles or drawings for special prizes.
