    About Black Powder Tavern
Black Powder Tavern is a historic restaurant located in Wayne, PA, at the footsteps of the Valley Forge National Park. The property has a strategic location at the nexus of 202 and Valley Forge Road/Route 252. For more than 200 years, the tavern, through various incarnations, has served as a meeting place for travelers. Legends of American history, including George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette, and Prussian general Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben, used the tavern as a strategic meeting place to enjoy an ale, discuss the formation of the country, and utilized it as covert location to store munitions (notably, gun powder) during the American Revolution. For more information about the menu, reservations, events, and/or to book your own event, visit the Black Powder Tavern website or call (610) 293-9333.
