The big event may be canceled this year, but that doesn't mean you can't have some fun in the KOP Beerfest spirit! They’ve set up some specially crafted 6-packs and an incredible line-up for a live zoom happy hour to keep you entertained and drinking along with some beer enthusiasts, local brewery reps and live music.
Ardmore Oktoberfest Weeked

Ardmore businesses invite you to enjoy German food and drink (indoors or out) or select Ardmore Oktoberfest To Go - takeout designed to bring the Ardmore Oktoberfest festivities to you!
First Friday Octoberfest

Come and enjoy First Friday in Skippack.This Octoberfest themed event will be full of family fun, vendors, food trucks, beer garden, live music and more!
Skippack Days Arts & Craft Show
October 2-4 | Skippack
Come out and support small business owners at this craft fair hosted by Skippack Village. Vendors will have handmade products to purchase.
Narberth Scavenger Hunt
October 2-9 | Narberth
This family-friendly hunt will have you searching around town for clues, patronizing businesses, biking and more. This will be a quaranteam, socially distant affair! Participants will be required to wear masks at all times while hunting downtown. Please register your household team no later than September 30th.
Ambler Restaurant Weekend
October 9-11 |Ambler
This is the final Ambler Restaurant Weekend of the year. Butler Avenue is closed to allow for more outdooring dining at your favorite eateries. Restaurants will be offering your favorite restaurant week specials, and following all of the guidelines for social distancing.
Winetober Fest 2020
October 10 | Skippack
Enjoy a day of social-distance fun while sipping some of the area’s best wines. The event is also dog-friendly. Purchase tickets in advance.
Norristown Farm Park Bird Walk
October 13 | Norristown
Migration is in full swing. Bring binoculars on this hike to spot local birds. All ages; free.
Mini Pumpkin Container Workshop
October 13 and 15 | Skippack
Create a mini pumpkin planter at this new workshop. All materials will be supplied, including a plant, soil, moss and container. Both adults and kids are welcome. Workshop will take place outside due to COVID-19. Registration required. Cost is $18 plus tax.
Colebrookdale Railroad: Autumn Splendor Fall Foliage Train Ride
Weekends in October | Boyertown
Enjoy seeing fall foliage by train! Enjoy locally-produced autumn snacks and ciders on board during the two-hour round trip. Buy tickets in advance.

Birds of the Schuylkill
October 17 | Pottstown
Join Take it Outdoors and John James Audubon Center for the next installment in their Birds of the Schuylkill Series. This trip will include a bike ride up the Schuylkill River Trail. After riding for approx 4 miles, enjoy a box lunch and a birding presentation provided by Audubon Center Educators. All participants must be at least 12 years of age.
Variety Mini Carnival
October 28-31 | Worcester
Variety – the Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley – is hosting a mini carnival, featuring carnival foods, kiddie rides, games, pumpkin painting and a costume parade. Proceeds benefit Variety. Masks and social-distancing required.
