Father’s Day Events to Share with Dad
On June 16, enjoy an afternoon of browsing classic cars and classic cigars at Parc Bistro in Skippack, where their parking lot becomes host to car lovers for the monthly Cars & Cigars meetup. While checking out the hotrods, Dad can take a slow draw from a high-quality cigar from Montco’s Top Shelf Cigar Company, who will be on hand during the event.
Or spend the day with Dad soaking up history on a Trolley Tour of Valley Forge National Park. The 90-minute, guided tour includes extended stops at the Muhlenberg Brigade Huts and Washington's Headquarters. Reservations are suggested.
In the evening, take Dad out for a night of theater and music at the Act II Playhouse in Ambler. Father’s Day marks the final show of the theater’s production of “Forever Plaid”, telling the story of four friends united by their love of 1950’s pop music and the creation of their own band, “The Plaids”.
