Join Independence Seaport Museum and Auerhahn Schuhplattler Verein as we celebrate Oktoberfest with an evening of folkdances highlighting the Alpine regions of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Many of the original members of the group, which is celebrating its 40th year of performing, still dance along with the second and third generation below them. The group’s specialty is the Schuhplattler (shoe slapping dance).
