Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar in the King of Prussia Town Center has a spacious indoor and outdoor bar. Their drink menu stays true to its moniker stating, “rum is a journey not a destination.” In addition to rum, Paladar’s drink menu has handcrafted cocktails such as mojitos and margaritas.

The summer drink menu features a Superior Watermelon Jalapeño Margarita. What’s in it? Cazadores Reposado, Ferrand Dry Curaçao and housemade watermelon margarita mix.

Cazadores Reposado is tequila that spends up to year in new American oak barrels to give it a balance of agave and woody flavors.

How can adult milkshakes not make the list for best summer drinks in Montgomery County? At Imprint Beer. Co, the weekly Schmoojee Milkshakes are huge hit at the Hatfield brewery. Schmoojee is a heavily fruited kettle sour beer. Imprint Beer Co. also has IPAs, fruited sours, Schmoojee seltzers, shade hard seltzers and light beers.

Acclaimed chef Nick Elmi and his business partner Fia Berisha opened The Landing Kitchen, a new all-day café and kitchen in Bala Cynwyd.

The scenic riverside destination on the Ironworks property has a beautiful outdoor patio where you can soak in garden bar vibes.

Partnership with Fishtown’s Walktails and designed by Beverage Director and Partner, Fia Berisha, from the cocktail recipe to the design of the can. The Landing Kitchen will be serving five bespoke canned cocktail options in addition to beer and wine.

"Desert Flower" is the perfect cocktail to sip at The Landing’s scenic riverside patio and garden bar. It’s a balanced blend of Montelobos Mezcal, Campari, Persian Lime and a Strawberry-Aloe-Orange Blossom Cordial.

Blue Bell Inn gets well-deserved praise for its drinks and Happy Hour. Their extensive beverage menu is packed with a variety of choices from featured cocktails, beer and an extensive wine list. The Blue Bell Inn is also home to one of the best outdoor patios in Montgomery County.

The White Peach Sangria at Blue Bell Inn is one of their featured cocktails. It’s created with Pinot Grigio, Peach Schnapps, White Peach and infused with seasonal fresh fruits.

Margaritas are one of the main attractions at this modern Mexican restaurant. All of the margaritas at Cantina Feliz are made with fresh, hand-squeezed lemon and lime juices.

One of the most popular summer drinks at Cantina Feliz is the refreshing Spicy Cucumber Margarita. It is made with Hornitos Plata Tequila, fresh lime juice, muddled cucumber and jalapeño slices and a splash of agave for balance.

Gypsy Saloon has a lively bar scene and a lovely outdoor patio.

Gypsy Saloon’s summer cocktail menu starts on Memorial Day weekend and one of the drinks on it is “The Gypsy Spritz.” It’s created with house-infused Mango Vodka with fresh squeezed lime juice, mango purée, and topped with mango White Claw. There will be variations of the cocktail all summer with different flavored White Claws.

El Sarape’s extensive drink menu is filled with handcrafted margaritas, mezcals, sangrias, mojitos, and probably the biggest selection of tequila in Montgomery County.

The Super Patron Margarita at El Sarape is a refreshing drink for any warm summer day or night. It’s made with Patron silver, fresh lime juice, orange liquor, agave nectar and a splash of sour mix. 

Another choice for a summer drink is the Pineapple Infusion. It’s made with tequila infused with organic pineapples for over 21 days.

Via Veneto has been serving up some of the best pizza and Italian ice in Montgomery County for decades. The water ice comes in about nineteen flavors and is a favorite for kids and adults year-round.

During the pandemic, Via Veneto started selling adult slushies made with their homemade Italian water ice. With a famous base (Via’s water ice is sold across the country) and an added kick, it proved to be a big hit and are still available.

As dining over the past year has shifted outdoors, Stove & Tap made adjustments to match the al fresco mood.

The Gin & Bear It is created with Boardroom Gin, lemongrass, cucumber, mint and lemon. It was inspired by the all the fresh ingredients of a summer garden.

The Gin & Bear is a bright summery drink that is sure to refresh whether you enjoy it indoors or outdoors.

The Great American Pub

The Great American Pub has been a staple in Montgomery County for its bar, Happy Hour and a great place to watch the game. Now it has a rooftop bar and dining area. The Skytop Garden at the Great American Pub is currently available by reservation. Some cocktails on the menu at The Skytop Garden include the Basil on the Roof (Hendrix gin, basil infusion, fresh lemon, lemon lime soda, mojitos, froses, and margaritas.




At Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, hungry visitors will go wild for Zachary’s BBQ & Soul. The menu has authentic Southern specialties and barbeque.
