Ambler Restaurant Week is July 8th-15th!  Over a dozen Ambler area restaurants will be offering wonderful specials and Prix-fix menus.

Whether you’re looking for high end or casual, a beverage pairing or a BYOB, lunch or dinner; there is something to please everyone. This is always a popular week in Ambler, make your reservations in advance! Please keep in mind that not all restaurants are open each night during Restaurant Week, yet another reason to plan in advance and make reservations!

The Sad Summer Festival lands at the Skyline Stage at the Mann on Saturday, July 13th with Lansdale & Montco's very own The Wonder Years alongside State Champs, Mayday Parade, The Maine, Mom Jeans, Just Friends, and Stand Atlantic.

Board one of our meticulously restored century old rail cars for a two hour expedition into one of the most scenic and historic regions in the northeast. Once the province of pioneers and patriots, the Colebrookdale is your ticket to a verdant land lost in time.

Brunch is provided by Devour Catering & Event Design and includes: scrambled eggs, seasoned potatoes, bacon, sausage, pancakes or french toast, and mimosa (must be 21) or orange juice, coffee, tea, and water.

Brunch is available for our Dining Car passengers only.

Open to ALL USA Climbing members, parents, coaches, and volunteers! Hear from Marc Norman about USA Climbing's plans for the future and an update from the Competition Task Force and their important work in redefining USA Climbing's competition season beginning in 2021. We take a short train ride to Colebrookdale Village where we will be getting off the train, enjoying a snack and a beverage and listen to stories read to us by our guest reader of the Boyertown Library, children's librarian Lisa Rand!

Only very special guests will have the unique opportunity to enjoy an excursion to our picnic area at our Colebrookdale site where little ones will gather around for a special storytime read-aloud. 

After our story time, you may be able to choose a book from our "Free Library" provided by the Friends of the Boyertown Library to enjoy on the ride home!

This special excursion is geared towards fans ages 12 and under (or any fan of trains and a good book!)

This reading and train experience is about an hour.

Please Note: Our Colebrookdale Site DOES NOT have a ramp, we apologize, but for this expedition, we cannot accommodate wheelchairs.

​Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust

 “I’ve been working on the railroad, all the live long day….”  Create new memories with your family as you board Colebrookdale Railroad’s Campfire Express to our site “in the woods.” You’ll ride the train to the campfire site, roast some hot dogs and join in some camp songs.

We supply: Hot dogs & buns, roasting sticks, bug juice (beverage – but no bugs), campfire to roast your dog, song sheets, and song leader.

You supply: The energy and kids to create the experience. This is a camping experience without the sleepover.

We anticipate this experience to be a little over an hour in duration.

This excursion is family oriented with family friendly pricing!

Unable to visit our two National Historic Landmark ships, Cruiser Olympia and Submarine Becuna, during the day?  That's okay!  This summer you can visit both ships with our Extended Summer Hours on Thursdays-Sundays until 7 p.m. (last boarding is 6:15 p.m.).

Bryn Athyn Historic District
 

Explores themes of sacred and celestial imagery in the traditional arts of the Pennsylvania Dutch, with special emphasis on the decorated barns of Southeastern Pennsylvania. This exhibition, which features actual examples of barn stars, decorated objects, and related images, is guest curated  by Patrick Donmoyer, director of the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University. Donmoyer is the author of Hex Signs: Myth and Meaning in Pennsylvania Dutch Barn Stars (2013). The Heritage Center and Glencairn Museum will collaborate on a full exhibition catalog for the Glencairn exhibition.

​The Mann Center for the Performing Arts

The wait is over! Sublime with Rome returns long at last with new music in 2019 to complement their first two album releases, Sirens, the 2015 effervescent follow up to the band's 2011 debut release Yours Truly. “Wicked Heart” will be the first single out late July off their yet untitled upcoming album to come out around Spring 2019. Don’t miss them at the Skyline Stage on July 9 with SOJA, Common Kings, and Seranation.
