THE NATIONAL DOG SHOW GALA 2019

Westover Golf and Country Club

The seventh annual National Dog Show Gala, benefiting Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House (PRMH), Philadoptables and National Dog Show Charities is set for Friday, November 15 at Westover Golf and Country Club in Norristown. Staged in conjunction with the Kennel Club of Philadelphia's annual National Dog Show, the event features a cocktail hour/celebrity red carpet available to all attendees, open bar throughout (beer & wine plus cash bar), four-course sit-down dinner and on-stage entertainment.  The  cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. The entertainment for the evening will include performances by featured comedian Buzz Sutherland. It will also include an onstage appearance by John O'Hurley and remarks from David Frei and Mary Carillo. MCCC Drama Club and Theater Arts Program Present Reimagined ‘Hedda Gabler’ by Henrik Ibsen

The Montgomery County Community College Drama Club and Theater Arts Program will present their reimagined Henrik Ibsen’s play “Hedda Gabler.” The play is adapted and directed by MCCC Theatre Arts Professor Jessica DalCanton and will run through November 14 to 17 at the College’s Black Box Theatre at Central Campus in Blue Bell.

THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES

Fairytales collide in our brand new holiday panto — Robin Hood is dead, his merry men are in hiding, and Nottinghamshire is taken over by a greedy villainess. (Gasp!) Can a new hero, or heroine, emerge from Sherwood Forest and save the day? Set in the 1940s with a dash of the medieval, this hilarious, musical mashup is our most inventive panto yet.
