Presidents' Day is just a day off for most schoolkids, but it takes special meaning in Valley Forge where George Washington is forever celebrated as the hero of the encampment. Celebrations extend outside the park with plenty of activities for families and anyone enjoying an extra day in their weekend.

Celebrate George Washington's birthday at the site of his first public birthday celebration, Valley Forge National Historical Park. The General and Martha Washington will be onhand with a cake fit for the occasion. Games, crafts and a Kids Join the Continental Army program are all part of the festivities.
