SCOTTISH & IRISH MUSIC FESTIVAL AND FAIR

The 23rd annual Scottish & Irish Music Festival and Fair returns to the Valley Forge Casino Resort this Presidents' Day weekend. Saturday features two stages of music plus Scottish and Irish dancing, whiskey tastings, seminars and bagpipers.
PHILADELPHIA GOLF SHOW
Greater Philadelphia Expo Center

Philadelphia's premier winter golf event is back for three days at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Special attractions include a manufacturer's demo range, the Golfsmith long drive championship, free lessons from area PGA professionals and the 70-foot long putt challenge.
CUPID'S ARROW DINNER TRAIN

Valentine Day Weekend, February 12-14, the Colebrookdale Railroad presents "Romance on the Rails." This special excursion (6:30 p.m.) offers an Italian gourmet catered meal and dessert served in the lovingly restored coach and café cars. The caboose is also be available for up to four people, providing an intimate dining experience.
SERVO D'AMORE: THE MUSIC OF GIOVANNI VALENTINI

The Glencairn Museum comes alive with the romantic sounds of Baroque music when solo-voice ensemble Les Canards Chantants teams with the string ensemble ACRONYM to perform the music of Italian master Giovanni Valentini. The concert begins at 8 p.m. in the awe-inspiring Grand Hall.
VALENTINE'S KIDS NIGHT

Elmwood Park Zoo is giving parents the night off with a special Valentine's Kids Night at the Zoo. Events include an after-hours flashlight tour, animal bingo, arts and crafts, live animal show, movie and a pizza dinner. The fun starts 5 p.m.

Peddler's Village in nearby Lahaska has a full weekend of events planned for Valentine's Day weekend. Events on Saturday include a Chocolate Lovers Tea at 3p.m. and a murder mystery dinner at 7 p.m.

When colonial kitchens used chocolate - now a Valentine's Day staple - it was either consumed as a hot beverage or blended into other recipes. A cooking demo at Pottsgrove Manor on February 13 shows just how versatile those combinations could be, resulting in a chocolate tart and chocolate wine.

The Tin Woman, is a comedy/drama that revolves around the recipient of a heart transplant and the family that donated it. Based on a true story, the moving script uses humor and pathos to explore loss, family, and what it means to be given new life. Saturday night's performance begins at 8 p.m.

Steel River Playhouse stages a perfect accompaniment to Valentine's Day weekend with its run of Love Letters (February 5-13). The story describes a long-term friendship that blossoms into more, revealed by two characters who read correspondence they've sent to each other over several decades. Saturday features two shows: a 2 p.m matinee and an evening performance at 7:30 p.m.
SENSE AND SENSIBILITY

The romanticism of Regency England fills the People's Light stage with an adaptation of Jane Austin's Sense and Sensibility. The story follows two young ladies to their new home, a meagre cottage on a distant relative's property, where they experience love, romance and heartbreak. Catch the Saturday performance at 8 p.m.

RARE BIRD: JOHN JAMES AUDUBON AND CONTEMPORARY ART
