KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.  Whether you're an animal lover, a foodie or just a hopeless romantic, the Valley Forge area has something to warm your heart for the Valentine's Day weekend.

Those "wild" about love can celebrate at Elmwood Park Zoo's "Animal Amore"- a spicy look at love in the animal kingdom presented by zoo director Bill Konstant. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. in the zoo's new Canopy Gardens Pavilion on Feb.12 and will include a romantic five-course dinner, live music with complimentary champagne toast. Cost is $100 per couple.

Couples can tear up the dance floor to the jive tunes of the Bill Koss Combo at Sunnybrook Ballroom on Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. Dinner options include Chicken FranceseorBeef Scaloppini and delicious desserts.

Phoenixville's Columbia Bar & Grille, voted best romantic restaurant on the MyPHL 17Philly hot list, will host its first-ever Sweetheart Ball. It gets under way at 8 p.m. on Saturday Feb.12, with a one-hour open bar and butlered hors d'oeuvres, followed by a three-course wine dinner at 9 p.m. and dessert buffet and champagne at 11 p.m. The cost is $150 per couple and reservations are required. The lovesick can literally "keep the music playing" on Feb.14 with a chocolate-inspired a la carte dinner from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring entertainment by CBG's resident pianist, Dale McCauley.

Indulge your sweetheart with acclaimed chef Jeffrey Power's four-course, prix fixe Valentine's Day meal at Dettera Restaurant and Wine Bar, in Ambler. Early birds pay $50 each from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., with an optional $15 wine flight. After that, it's $60 per person until 10 p.m., with $20 wine flights. Chef Power will also offer Valentine's Day-inspired specials Friday, Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb.13.

It's all aboard the love train at Trax Restaurant & Café, also in Ambler, with a four-course, prix fixe dinner on Monday, Feb. 14. There's no corkage fee at this cozy BYOB, tucked inside a restored train station. The same menu will also be available Feb.10 to12, as will the a la carte menu.

Sweet snacks and Valentine's crafts let kids get in on the act at Graeme Park's Valentine's Day Around the World event, Sunday, Feb. 13, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 per child and includes optional tours of the Keith House.
